This page explains how to request deletion of your PetroBind account and what happens to your data when you do.
How to request deletion
- Email zaid.nasir8273@gmail.com from the email address registered on your PetroBind account.
- Use the subject line
Delete my PetroBind account, and include your station's name. - We'll confirm your identity and process the request within 7 business days, then reply once it's complete.
What gets deleted
- Your login credentials (email and password) and personal account profile.
- Your access to PetroBind — you will no longer be able to sign in.
What may be retained, and why
PetroBind is used by a fuel station's staff to record the station's own business records — shifts, tanks, point-of-sale transactions, credit (udhar) ledgers, payroll, and financial/accounting entries. This operational data belongs to the station (the business), not to any individual user account, in the same way that deleting your login to a company's shared business software doesn't erase the company's own records.
- If you're an individual staff account, deleting your account removes your personal login and profile, but the station's operational and financial records you entered remain part of the station's business records.
- If you're the station owner and want your station's entire data set deleted (not just your login), say so explicitly in your email — we'll confirm with you what that includes and the retention period for financial records we may be legally required to keep before final deletion.
